Diogenes of Babylon

Diogenes of Babylon (c. 230–140 BCE) was a major Stoic teacher in Athens and a member of the famous philosophical embassy to Rome. He played a crucial role in transmitting Stoic doctrine and training the generation that would adapt it to Roman culture.
