Inducers
Inducers are triggers. They are powerful formulations or ideas that allow the reader or writer to evoke a response to concepts they are learning or remembering.
In his meditations, Marcus Aurelius repeats his dogmas chapter after chapter. Sometimes he repeats the same ideas, using formulas that serve as "triggers" to reactivate in his mind the rules of life he has sworn by. This facilitates their internalization through associations of ideas.
